The story began four decades ago in Northern Europe, Latvia, where Santa was born and raised. Her love for fishing developed at a young age when she first learned to walk. It was not until she turned 30 that she discovered her passion for fly fishing. Over the past ten years, Santa has achieved several world records in fly fishing and has also competed and triumphed in fly casting competitions.
With a desire to share her enthusiasm for fly fishing and travel experiences worldwide, Santa launched her blog, Dry Fly Girl. Her motto, "travel, catch fish, and write about it," encapsulates her blog's spirit.
